Conceição Costa has been invited to a speech about Diversity at Renault Cacia Portugal in Aveiro, during the week for inclusion & sustainable development.
She talked about the importance of communication in embracing diversity. She presented some case studies from her research, including MILT were youth from low social condition are afraid of the unknown. The unknown are the “others”, from other countries or social condition. Youth start to think about the “other one” as an enemy. It could be changed with join action, and communication is literally to put in common.
